Can you use The Lawn Mower 3.0 on your face?
Yes, you can if you really want to use that way. I tried it before I realized it was for your man bits. I guess that’s what you get when you don’t read the packaging close enough.
I wasn’t really impressed with the way it left my beard, but my beard is kind of patchy so it doesn’t look good until it grows long enough to fill in all the patchy spots. If you have a full, thick beard, then your results may be better than mine. However, I think there are better personal groomers out there for your face.
The official Manscaped 3.0 product page mentions that there are different types of bacteria that grow on your face than in your groin region and it’s probably not a good idea to use the same razor for both areas. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t include this information in the box with the razor.
Can you shave you balls with The Lawn Mower 3.0?
Yes, you can shave your balls with the Lawn Mower 3.0. Not only can you shave them, but it was specifically designed to shave them. As noted in my Lawn Mower 3.0 review, even with the words “YOUR BALLS WILL THANK YOU!” in bold, capital, yellow letters, I somehow missed the fact that it was intended for you to use it on your genitals and not your head or face.
How do you shave your balls with The Lawn Mower 3.0?
This is kind of tricky with just words. However, my main recommendation is to make sure your skin is taut and you don’t let any folds get into the guard.
I pretty much cup my balls in my left hand and hold the razor in my right hand. I trim the upper pubic region first, followed by shaving down the shaft of my “tree trunk”, and end with balls.
I try to shave it against the direction of the hair growth as this seems to be the best way to get the hair up into the guard. If your pubic hair is long you can even twist them together and run the lawn mower through the twisted group, but you want to make sure you don’t accidentally pull your scrotom into the guard or it will make it into the oscillating ceramic blade, which is not a good time.
Performance Questions
How close does The Lawn Mower 3.0 cut?
I would say it leaves the hair about a 1/4″ long. You might be able to get it closer, but I wouldn’t try to get it super short or you might run the risk of nicking yourself.
Is Manscaped The Lawn Mower 3.0 worth it?
My girlfriend bought it for my birthday as a gag gift after she got tired of pestering me for a list of birthday gifts and not getting a response. I think it does the job it’s designed to do very well. It didn’t have any problems going through long hair and is a lot faster than a typical cartridge razor would be.
The only complaint I can see someone having is that it doesn’t give you a close shave, but I wouldn’t expect it to either. If you want a close shave on your man bits you’re going to need to break out another razor.
Is the Manscaped The Lawn Mower 3.0 any good?
As mentioned in the question above, I think the Lawn Mower does its job very well. You can very quickly and easily trim your pubic hair.

Does the Lawn Mower 3.0 cut skin?
Yes, unfortunately it does. As with all razors there is inherent risk of cutting yourself and the lawn mower 3.0 is no different. As noted in my lawn mower 3.0 review, I actually nicked myself while using it. You need to pay very close attention to what you are doing and where your skin is in relation to the cutting mechanism.
